Privacy Policy

FieldMetrIQ is job-management software for contractors. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you get it deleted. It is written to describe what the software actually does — not to cover us for things we do not do.
“We” and “FieldMetrIQ” mean Sublime Design NV LLC, 5747 Garriga St, Las Vegas, NV 89135. You can reach us any time at support@fieldmetriq.com.
1. What we collect
Account information
- Your email address, and your phone number if you provide one
- Your display name and profile picture
- A hashed password, or — if you sign in with Google or Apple — the account identifier that provider gives us. We never see or store your Google or Apple password.
- Sign-in timestamps and a record of actions taken in your account, so you can see who changed what
Business information you enter
Everything you put into FieldMetrIQ to run your jobs: leads and their contact details, job walks, site photos, measurements, material selections, estimates, proposals, invoices, payments, and notes. This is your business data. You own it. We hold it so the software can show it back to you.
Payment information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
Text messages
The FieldMetriQ transactional SMS program is operated by Sublime Design NV LLC, 5747 Garriga St, Las Vegas, NV 89135.
Call to action / opt-in. You opt in by providing a mobile number to FieldMetrIQ and agreeing to the Terms of Service. That covers account notifications when you add a phone to your account, job scheduling when you request or book a job, and job scheduling plus portal invites when you agree with your contractor to receive texts about your job.
Message types are job scheduling, portal invites, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of purchase.
If you send texts through FieldMetrIQ — for example a client portal invite — Twilio delivers them. We store the phone number and the message so we can show you the thread and honor opt-out. Client texts include “Reply STOP to opt out.”
We do not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
For help, email support@fieldmetriq.com or reply HELP. Program terms: https://fieldmetriq.com/terms. This policy: https://fieldmetriq.com/privacy.
2. Google user data
This section describes exactly what FieldMetrIQ does with data from your Google Account. Sign-In with Google is optional — you can create an account with email and a password instead. Connecting Google Calendar, connecting Gmail, and connecting Google Drive are separate, optional steps; the app works without them.
What we ask for
| Scope | What it allows | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
openid, profile, email |
Basic identity: your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture | Sign-In with Google, as implemented. We use this to create or open your FieldMetrIQ account. We never see your Google password. |
.../auth/calendar.events |
View and edit events on your calendars | To show your existing calendar next to your FieldMetrIQ schedule so you don't double-book a job walk, and to put job walks you schedule in FieldMetrIQ onto your Google Calendar — keeping them updated if the time changes. |
.../auth/drive.file |
See, edit, and create only the specific Google Drive files you pick or that FieldMetrIQ creates. It does not grant access to the rest of your Drive. | To copy a file you pick onto a job, and to save the proposals, invoices, photos, and drawings you choose into a FieldMetrIQ folder on your Drive. |
.../auth/gmail.send |
Send email on your behalf. It cannot read, search, list or open any email in your mailbox. | So the proposals you send from FieldMetrIQ arrive from your own email address instead of a FieldMetrIQ no-reply address — your customer can reply to you directly, and a copy lands in your own Sent folder. FieldMetrIQ only sends when you press Send on something you wrote or approved. |
Those are the Google scopes FieldMetrIQ requests. Calendar, Gmail, and Google Drive are not bundled into Sign-In; each is a separate connection you can turn on later. We do not request permission to read your Gmail, your contacts, or your location. FieldMetrIQ only accesses files you pick or that FieldMetrIQ itself creates.
What we store
- If you sign in with Google: your Google account identifier, email, display name and profile picture. We do not keep Sign-In access tokens after the sign-in finishes.
- If you connect Google Calendar: the OAuth access and refresh tokens Google issues, so the connection keeps working without asking you to sign in again every time
- For each job walk you put on your calendar, the Google event ID and event link — so we can update or remove that specific event later
- If you connect Gmail: the email address you connected (so we can put it on the From line) and the same OAuth tokens as above. Calendar and Gmail share one Google connection.
- If you connect Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive: the provider account ID, the root folder name, the file ID and file name of each file FieldMetrIQ saved, and the OAuth tokens. Those tokens are encrypted.
We read calendar events to display them to you. We do not keep a copy of your calendar in our database.
Gmail: we never see anything in your mailbox — the permission does not allow it. The only email we handle is the message you are sending from FieldMetrIQ, which is your own FieldMetrIQ data (a proposal, for example) and is stored the same way whether it goes out through your Gmail or ours.
Limited Use disclosure
FieldMetrIQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In plain terms, we do not:
- sell your Google data, or any other data, to anyone
- use it for advertising, retargeting, or building an ad profile
- use it to train, fine-tune, or feed any AI or machine-learning model — your Google Drive file content, your Google Calendar data, and any Google data from your Gmail connection is never sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other AI provider
- let humans read it, except where you specifically ask us to help with a support problem, where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to investigate abuse or a security incident
- share it with anyone except the service providers listed in section 4, and only as far as they need it to run FieldMetrIQ for you
Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive file content is never used to train or feed AI or machine-learning models.
Turning it off
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings → Calendar → Disconnect, and Gmail from Settings → Email → Disconnect (fieldmetriq.com/settings/email). Either one stops that feature immediately. Because Calendar and Gmail share one Google connection, when you turn off the last one still in use we tell Google to revoke the permission and delete the stored tokens from our database, and we lose all access to your Google account. While one of them is still on, the connection stays so that feature keeps working; to remove everything at once, use the Google link below. You can also revoke Sign-In or Calendar access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
You can disconnect Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive at any time from Settings → Cloud storage → Disconnect. Disconnecting there, or deleting the account, revokes the token with the provider and deletes the stored tokens. Google and Dropbox are revoked by a call to the provider. OneDrive has no per-token revoke, so deleting the stored tokens is that step. You can also revoke access yourself from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, from your Dropbox account settings, or from your Microsoft account settings.
Deleting your account does more than disconnect: we actively tell Google to revoke the permission before we delete anything, so the grant does not sit live in your Google account with nothing left pointing at it.
Events already created on your calendar stay on your calendar — they are yours. Delete them in Google Calendar if you don't want them.
3. How we use your information
- To run the product: show your jobs, build your estimates, send your proposals, schedule your job walks
- To sign you in and keep your account secure
- To send messages you ask us to send — for example, a client portal invite by text or email
- To bill you for your subscription
- To fix problems and improve the software
Some FieldMetrIQ features use AI — reading a supplier invoice, pulling contact details out of a spoken intake note, drafting listing copy. Where that happens, the specific content needed for that task is sent to OpenAI or Anthropic to process and return a result. As stated above, Google Calendar data is never included. Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive file content is never used to train or feed AI or machine-learning models.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run FieldMetrIQ, and they only receive what they need to do their job:
| Provider | What they do | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Railway | Application hosting and database | All application data, stored in the United States |
| Stripe | Subscription and invoice payments | Billing details and payment information |
| Twilio | Text messages | The phone number and message content, only to deliver the message. Never for marketing, and never shared onward — see Text messages. |
| OpenAI, Anthropic | AI features | Only the content needed for that specific task. Never Google Calendar data. Never Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive file content. |
| Sign-In with Google, Calendar sync if you connect it, and Google Drive if you connect it | Basic identity for sign-in; the calendar events you choose to create through FieldMetrIQ; Drive files you pick or that FieldMetrIQ creates | |
| Dropbox | Optional shop cloud storage. App folder access. | Files you pick or that FieldMetrIQ saves, inside that app folder, and the encrypted connection tokens we store |
| Microsoft OneDrive | Optional shop cloud storage. Scopes: Files.ReadWrite.AppFolder, Files.Read, and offline_access. | Files FieldMetrIQ saves into the app folder, and the one file you pick, and the encrypted connection tokens we store |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FieldMetrIQ, our users, or the public.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your business data for as long as your account is open, because that is the point of the software — last year's job is what makes this year's estimate accurate.
- Google Calendar tokens are deleted the moment you disconnect Google Calendar, or when you close your account.
- Cloud storage tokens (Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive) are kept only while the drive is connected. They are deleted within 30 days of disconnect or account deletion, sooner where possible.
- Everything else is deleted when you ask us to close your account, except records we are required to keep — for example, invoices and payment records we have to retain for tax purposes.
6. Getting your data, or getting it deleted
Delete your account yourself
Go to Settings → Delete Account. You will be shown exactly what is about to be removed and asked to type your email address to confirm. When you confirm, straight away and without anyone reviewing it:
- we tell Google to revoke your calendar permission, then delete our copy of the tokens
- if you are the last member of a shop, we revoke that shop's cloud-storage token and delete the stored tokens the same way as Disconnect above. A shop that still has other members keeps its drive
- your login and profile are deleted
- any company you were the last remaining member of is deleted with you, including its leads, job walks, estimates, proposals, invoices and photos — because nobody could ever reach it again, and leaving it sitting in our database would make this policy untrue
- companies that still have other people in them are kept; you are removed from them
This cannot be undone and there is no restore. If you want a copy of your data, ask for it before you delete.
Anything else
Email support@fieldmetriq.com from the address on your account for:
- A copy of the data we hold about you
- A correction to anything that is wrong
- Deletion, if you would rather we did it than do it yourself
We will confirm within 7 days and complete the request within 30 days.
7. Security
All traffic to FieldMetrIQ runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
Connection secrets — your Google Calendar tokens, and the app-specific password if you connect an Apple calendar — are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM under a key held outside the database. Someone reading the database alone cannot use them.
Access to production systems is limited to people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if we learn of a breach that affects your data.
8. Children
FieldMetrIQ is business software for contractors. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how we handle your data, we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
